We are looking for a Card Payments Product Manager that will be responsible for delivering a modern, compelling roadmap for the Community Bank’s credit and debit card products.  This includes the development, prioritization, and managing the execution of thoughtful products, features and services that deliver an outstanding customer experience and drive Community Bank business success in both the personal and small business segments. This is a highly collaborative role, requiring regular engagement and alignment with other product teams as well as a range of key stakeholder and functional groups.

 

Product Development and Execution

  • Responsible for understanding the changing debit and credit card products and competitive environments.
  • Directly supports the Payments Product Director in managing the Community Bank’s debit and credit card roadmaps to deliver highly competitive, differentiated features and experiences that integrate into a broader customer-focused product and pricing ecosystem.
  • Collaborates with Deposit Product Management team, Card Services and other relevant delivery groups to deliver peer-leading, end-to-end customer journeys with an emphasis on customer listening.
  • In collaboration with Payments Product Director and internal partners, works with third-party partners to deliver on product roadmap.

Product Promotion

  • In support of the Payments Product Director, collaborates with Marketing, the Deposit Product team and external partners to develop and deliver an annual marketing plan.
  • Collaborates with Marketing to introduce new products, product features and functionality.
  • At the direction of the Payments Product Director, participates in cross-functional Acquisition, Early Tenure and/or Retention working teams, with defined lifecycle accountabilities.

 Product Performance

  • Works with Data Analytics to create and manage a working scorecard for digital payment products. As needed, identifies need and creates ad hoc reporting to understand specific issues/opportunities and provide recommendations based on the data.
  • Delivers feature penetration, utilization, and engagement performance for debit card products.
  • Works with Finance to establish annual goals for debit card KPIs.
  • Collaborates with larger Product and Digital team to deliver on debit card penetration and utilization target in support of the Community Bank primacy target.
  • Defines and adjusts KPIs as required to ensure meaningful measurement of debit card performance.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Banking Retail Payments industry or related Product Management experience required
  • Strong decision making, analysis and communication skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • BA in business, marketing, or related field
