We are currently seeking a Deposits Product Manager that will be responsible for delivering a modern, compelling roadmap for the Community Bank’s deposit products and related services.  This includes the development, prioritization, and managing the execution of thoughtful products, features and services that deliver an outstanding customer experience and drive Community Bank business success in both the personal and small business segments. This is a highly collaborative role, requiring regular engagement and alignment with both other product teams as well as a range of key stakeholder and functional groups. 

 

Key Accountabilities

Product Development and Execution

  • End to End product design, build, and quality execution – staying informed of developing industry and regulatory trends through frequent market research.
  • Client centric design – anticipating customer needs and developing solutions to address.
  • Directly supports the Director of Deposits Product in managing the Community Bank’s Deposit Product roadmap with customer centric design – anticipating customer needs and developing solutions to address over multi-year planning process
  • Collaborates with Deposits Operations, Corporate Compliance, IT, Community Banking Sales Support and other relevant delivery groups to enable Old National to effectively sell, fulfill, and service Community Banking products.
  • Collaborates with and influences other Lines of Business to deliver holistic solutions to address client needs from a combined bank viewpoint.
  • Project lead for Change Management initiatives with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization to drive changes to new or existing products, along with relevant supporting materials.
  • Develop pricing recommendations based on competitive data, bank objectives, and internal financial performance data to Director of Deposit Products for consideration by Treasury.

Product Promotion

  • Collaborates with Marketing, the Payments Product team and external partners to develop and deliver an annual marketing plan.
  • Collaborates with Marketing to introduce new product features and functionality.
  • At the direction of the Director of Deposits Product, participates in and/or leads cross-functional Acquisition, Early Tenure and/or Retention working teams, with defined lifecycle accountabilities.

Product Performance

  • Works with Data Analytics to create and manage a working scorecard for Community Bank Deposit products.
  • As needed, identifies need and creates ad hoc reporting to understand specific issues/opportunities and provide recommendations supported by business cases and data driven decision making.
  • Works with Finance to establish performance for Deposits Product KPIs.
  • Defines and adjusts KPIs as required to ensure meaningful measurement of Deposits Product performance.
  • P&L owner, managing performance against annual stated goals, as well as peer performance benchmarks.

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Strong data-driven decision making, analysis, and business casing skills required.
  • 2+ Years of Deposits Product Management or related Product Management experience required.
  • Knowledge of the retail deposits industry in a highly competitive environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellent writing and communication skills
  • BA in business, marketing, or related field.
