We have the opportunity to hire someone at the following levels: Commercial Underwriter I, II, or III. The role is in-office 5 days a week with office locations at 8750 West Bryn Mawr in Chicago (near Rosemont), 180 S. LaSalle Chicago, Hickory Hills IL, Lincoln Park in Chicago, Minneapolis/St. Paul area, Nashville Downtown Gulch, Indianapolis, Evansville IN, Milwaukee, Madison WI, and St Louis (Clayton) MO.
We are a relationship-focused financial institution providing a full range of commercial, treasury management, capital markets, equipment leasing, wealth management, trust and private banking products and services.
POSITION SUMMARY:
You will be responsible for performing financial analysis and underwriting for Commercial Real Estate loan transactions. You are expected to provide clear, concise, and accurate financial analysis and risk assessment for new and existing clients. Effectively interact and build collaborative relationships with commercial relationship managers, credit officers, administrative assistants, loan operations colleagues, appraisers, and examiners.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Commercial real estate credit, commercial real estate appraisal or credit analysis experience required with expertise appropriate for the job level. This position may be filled at a different level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience. Factors may include but are not limited to previous experience, depth and breadth of previous or current institution size.
Experience in commercial real estate appraisal or credit analysis with demonstrated skills in areas such as rent rolls, leases, cash flow, market analysis, and guarantor analysis for commercial real estate loans.
Proficient with financial spreading software
