Responsibilities

Old National Bank is looking to fill the position of Commercial Servicing Specialist II. The Commercial Servicing Specialist II position is primarily focused on commercial input, payments, maintenance and quality control of commercial loans on the bank’s servicing system.  This includes reading/interpreting loan promissory notes, including attorney prepared loan documents, commercial loan notes, and other bank specific documents.  This individual will become a subject matter expert in inputting commercial loan products (ie. Loans, lines of credit, renewals, and change in terms), completing maintenance requests, processing loan payments via posting rejects, BTE and other electronic payments and Charge Off/Non-Accrual loan processing.  This position plays a vital role in the client experience by ensuring any and all loan information added to our core system is accurate, meets all guidelines and compliance regulations, and is completed under the department service level agreements.

 

Salary Range

          The salary range for this position is $17.00/Hr. - $27.50/Hr.. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications and the career level at which the position is filled. 

 

 Key Accountabilities:

Production

  • Input New, Renewal and Change In Terms request for all commercial loan products (ie. Term, ODP lines, revolving credit lines, forbearance agreements) to bank core servicing system
  • Process maintenance received (ie. Auto debit set-up/changes, reverse/reapply payments)
  • Post incoming wires/posting rejects/ACHs to the servicing system
  • Complete Non Accrual/Charge off processing for Special Assets and Collections team
  • Input/Review daily rate changes to the core system
  • Exercise attention to detail during processing and verification to ensure accuracy

Monitoring

  • Complete daily verification of manual loan input and Non Accrual/Charge off Processing
  • Provide guidance on input issues (ie rate/payments errors, loan information or collateral detail) to other team members
  • Monitor, respond and assist in clearing questions submitted by front line banking center associates on behalf of customer.
  • Ability to balance internal control accounts and individual workstation
  • Communicate with immediate Team Members to ensure all Daily SLAs are met

 

Problem Solving

  • Provide answers/guidance to documentation errors or maintenance issues and communicate with other lines of business to address any concerns
  • Collaborate with other departments to guarantee a high level of service
  • Ability to bring issues/discrepancies to Supervisor/Manger attention
  • Ability to read and interpret payment and rate information from documents

Communication:  Communicates information in verbal, written and presentation form in a clear, concise, and timely manner. Determines the appropriate level of detail to communicate the desired information

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent; associates degree in Business or related field is a plus
  • Commercial loan experience or loan operations experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read/comprehend simple instructions or job aides; prepare short correspondence emails or memos
  • Problem solving to assist with client issues by performing research

 

Key Measures of Success/Key Deliverables:

  • Ability to adhere to daily productivity tasks and complete department service level agreements
  • Development of relationships with team members and banking center associates as customers
  • Continual development of knowledge base
