Responsibilities

Old National is currenly seeking to fill the position of Community Impact Operations Director, VP. The Vice President of Operations will serve as an integral member of the management team. This is amanagement leadership position providing oversight and direction of loan, deposit and electronic banking operations in addition to contributing to the development of the Bank’s operational strategic goals. This position will take the lead in project management and delivery of new business lines and services. This individual will be charged with developing and implementing improved workflows and ensure efficiency and consistency throughout the operations department. This is an outstanding opportunity for a manager with operational experience and a proven track record of change management and problem-solving skills.

 

Duties of the VP of Operations

 

  • Responsible for ensuring that loan and deposit operations activities comply with policies and procedures
    and meet all regulatory, legal and compliance requirements.
  •  
  • Project management including negotiation, vendor co-ordination of new product delivery, product
    implementation, testing, and rollout and post –implementation servicing.
  •  
  • Advise the COO or other members of Executive Management on identification and implementation of
    workflow improvements and departmental procedures.
  •  
  • Contribute to the development of operational strategic goals and objectives and overall management of
    the operations department.
  •  
  • Maintain continuous lines of communication and keep the COO informed of critical issues.
  •  
  • Represent the Bank externally, as necessary, with core vendor relationships (Fiserv).
  •  
  • Provide team development and leadership, oversee and organize the workflow of the operations team.
  •  
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values a commitment to quality
    and customer service
  •  
  • Monitor staff performance, conduct annual performance reviews and administer salary adjustments,
    develop goals for individuals, assign accountabilities, set objectives and priorities.
  •  
  • Mentor and develop staff using a collaborative approach.
  •  
  • Oversee day to day processes of operations including deposit services, electronic banking, cash
    management, remote deposit capture, loan servicing, loan collateral, loan origination and office
    management.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk and enhance the
    accuracy of the Bank’s day-to-day operations.


SKILLS & ABILITIES


Experience: Significant experience in banking with a focus on loan and deposit products and services, ideally in a
leadership capacity.


Technical Skills: Knowledge of banking software and digital tools used in deposit management.
Compliance Knowledge Familiarity with regulatory requirements affecting deposits, including AML, KYC, and other
relevant standards.


Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to improve operations.


Leadership Skills: Strong team management and leadership skills, with experience building and leading highperforming teams.

 

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially in regulatory compliance.

 


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE


Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field (advanced degrees preferred).


PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS


While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, or control, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and be comfortable working in small/confined spaces. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
