Responsibilities

Salary Range

           The salary range for this position is $51,700 - $101,500 per year plus bonus. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications and the career level at which the position is filled. 

 

The Old National Risk Department is increasingly seeking ways to leverage data, analytics, and, more recently AI, to drive efficiency and create new insights for our varied stakeholders.  The Enterprise Risk GRC Platform and Data Analyst will be central to this effort and will support the effective management of our Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) platform and leverage data analytics to drive actionable insights.  The role is vital to the team and will blend technical expertise in GRC systems with data-driven analysis to enhance risk monitoring and management across the Bank. 

 

Key Accountabilities

GRC Platform Administration

  • Support the administration, configuration, and integration of the GRC within the organization.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across all three lines of defense to design and implement Archer solutions to advance the risk governance framework
  • Analyze and troubleshoot platform performance, addressing issues to maintain operational efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Partner with vendor support on troubleshooting, upgrades and maintenance activities.
  • Develop and maintain workflows, dashboards, and reporting to support risk management processes.
  • Train key stakeholders on the platform to maximize utilization and adoption. 

Develop Data Extracts:

  • Partner with Risk Team members to derive requirements, work with IT and our Data Governance team stakeholders to identify data sources, obtain and validate data, and transform data via SQL and/or SAS to produce file extracts for use within PowerBI Dashboards, Excel or for interfaces with other systems
  • Design, develop and deploy business intelligence solutions with SQL queries for best results, filters, and graphs to better understand your data at all levels for performance improvements and suggestions 

Develop and Implement Power BI Reports:

  • Creates a consistent dashboard, reporting, and analytics experience for the Risk Team members
  • Understands functional requirements of Power BI and can design a data model to transform raw data into meaningful insights
  • Convert business requirements into technical specifications and implement them through reports that support decision-making
  • Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI
  • Able to instruct other Risk team members on the development or use of Power BI capabilities 

Business Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to leverage data management processes and reduce manual testing and monitoring processes.
  • Work with our Data Governance team to ensure adherence to data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Work with stakeholders to assess and improve data quality and consistency. 

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest OCC regulations and guidelines related to data governance, data quality, and data certification and ensure GRC platform aligns with evolving requirements.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Education Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Accounting, Computer Science or other IT-related field.
  • Experience in banking and finance a plus
  • 3 years of experience in system administration of Archer GRC platform including experience with Archer APIs for data integration: Archer Certified Administrator a plus
  • Experience in developing ODAs and core solutions customization.
  • Experience working with core components of Archer development such as Access Management (i.e., Role/Groups/Record Permissions), Forms/sub forms/Applications/questionnaires, Fields/Layouts, Data Driven Events, Advanced Workflow, Data Feeds, APIs, Notifications, Calculated Fields, Cross reference, Mail Merge, Data Imports, iViews, Dashboards, Reports, Value Lists etc.
  • 3 years experience in developing analytics reports and dashboards, preferably PowerBI
  • 3 years experience working with and creating data extracts
  • 3 years experience programming skills with querying languages a plus: SQL, SAS, R, Python, etc.
  • 3 years experience in Data visualization
  • Experience developing data analysis routines and documenting data extraction, transformation, and loading processes required.
  • Strong working knowledge of data analytics and programming tools (for example: Alteryx, Excel, Access, SQL Developer, etc.).
  • Knowledge of data analytics practices and concepts (for example, CAAT, trend analysis, data visualization, reasonability analysis, and regression analysis).
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and executing all aspects of the risk management lifecycle, including planning, risk assessment, scoping, testing, monitoring and reporting.
  • Advanced understanding of concepts related to information technology risk and control at all layers of the technology stack, including logical and physical security, change management, IT operations, business continuity management and network technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant industry frameworks and related regulatory guidance (e.g. COBIT, ITIL, NIST, FFIEC, ISO 27002, etc.) and applicable banking regulations, such as GLBA.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio).
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp, communicate and teach others how to identify underlying concepts in complex information.
  • Strong project management and time management skills, ability to effectively balance competing priorities, and demonstrated success in delivering work on time and within budget.
  • Experience integrating multiple components of the Microsoft BI Stack, with specific emphasis on Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate and Azure services
  • Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes
  • Knowledge of industry leading practices in Analytics
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and support data culture change initiatives
  • Client-centered approach to working with line of business stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to engage directly with C-level executives when sharing data, reports and presentations
  • Working knowledge of banking systems and tools (MeridianLink/LoansPQ, Encompass, Velocify, Fiserv Signature, Marquis Executrax MCIF) a plus
  • Archer Certified Administrator a plus
