Responsibilities

 The facilities coordinator is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of ON Place and ONB Hub buildings during operating hours. This role also supports the building’s 1834 Coffee Shop as a backup barista, assisting with beverage service as needed. Additionally, the facilities coordinator helps stock beverage and snack supplies for the 8th-floor and 1st floor ONB Hub. The facilities coordinator acts as a visible, customer-oriented representative of the facility team.

 

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $17.00/hr - $22.00/hr. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform routine cleaning of high-traffic areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and kitchen areas.
  • Spot clean doors, windows, and the deli seating area as needed.
  • Restock restroom supplies (paper products and soap).
  • Wipe down high-touch surfaces (door handles, elevator buttons, railings).
  • Perform quick-response cleaning for spills, accidents, or urgent requests.
  • Report any unsafe conditions, damage, or maintenance needs to the Facility Manager.
  • Maintain restrooms on a scheduled rotation throughout the day.
  • Inspect restrooms for cleanliness, supply levels, and minor maintenance issues.
  • Serve as a backup barista when staff shortages occur during peak morning hours.
  • Prepare and serve coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to shop standards.
  • Assist with point-of-sale transactions when needed.
  • Maintain/replenish coffee urns supplied on eighth floor during business hours.
  • Stock beverages in the kitchen areas on ON Place 8th floor and ONB Hub 1st

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience of facilities coordination is recommended.
  • Heavy concentration on customer service
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety standards and proper use of service equipment
  • Ability to work independently and manage necessary supply stock
  • Strong attention to detail
