Program Summary:

Old National’s 2022 Summer Internship Program will provide college students and recent college graduates the opportunity to gain exposure to various bank disciplines through the execution of assignments, mentoring activities, and group project engagement. Day-to-day roles and responsibilities may vary based on departmental needs but will generally consist of project planning, team meetings, project discussions with various Old National Team Members, and more. These positions will be responsible for assisting with assignments and initiatives to improve processes and implement efficiencies within Old National Bank. This opportunity is designed to be both educational and practical, giving Summer Interns the chance to apply skills and abilities learned in the classroom in a professional setting.



As a Summer Intern for Old National Bank, you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of the banking industry, engage through mentorship and professional development, and make a meaningful impact in the organization by applying your knowledge and skills. These experiences may include, but are not limited to:

  • Completion of corporate training courses
  • Management of specific projects assigned within department and internship program
  • Regular meetings with internship cohort, internship manager, and/or department manager
  • Participation in development sessions and other networking opportunities
  • Presentation of the final project to Old National team members, including mentors and managers



To optimize the program experience for interns and other team members, Old National selects ambitious and goal-focused individuals to join our diverse work environment.

Eligible candidates must be:

  1. Currently pursuing, or recently obtained, an undergraduate degree or master’s in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline from an accredited academic institution
  2. A standing Junior, Senior, or recent graduate in summer 2022
  3. Strong commitment to excellence and professional growth
  4. Outstanding performance and an aptitude for learning
  5. Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  6. Team players with the ability and willingness to multitask and help other team members as required
  7. Strong project management and organizational skills
  8. Interested, and preferably experienced, in financial services
  9. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  10. Permanently authorized to work in the United States
